These Effortless Updos Can Be Accessorized with a Veil, Flowers, or a Headpiece.

It took me a little while to nail down a hairstyle because obviously pinterest can overwhelm a person with 10,000 ideas! I was able to narrow it down by recognizing that, with my wedding being outdoors, it would be best to wear my hair up. That works perfect too because my favorite look on brides I’ve photographed in the past has always been a wispy, boho style. I decided on a loose side knot with a braid leading into it and some curls falling down in front to frame my face. This will allow my hair to show well in our wedding photos from all angles instead of putting it directly on the back of my neck, where it’s hidden from any front shots.

When deciding your own wedding hairstyle, be sure to think about your dress style as well. My gown features a halter style front with a gorgeous back too pretty to hide, so I chose an updo! I’ll be adding a little hair accessory as well to tie in the belt I selected since my dress is very simple.

This is such a fun part of all the wedding decision-making ... enjoy exploring the possibilities and just don’t overthink it! Happy planning!
