Middle school sweethearts The couple met in 7^th grade, dated in 8^th grade, and remained best friends throughout high school and college. They even had a pact to get married at age 30 if neither of them had met anyone else…but ended up falling in love well before their 30^th birthdays!

Don’t neglect the wedding night! “My mom and the Hilton event coordinator surprised us with the Presidential Suite at the Hilton on our wedding night! It might not seem like a huge detail to some, but to us it was very special to spend our first night as husband and wife in such a beautiful room with champagne and strawberries.”

Funniest moment Charles’s pants ripped right down the middle before the ceremony. During the first part of pictures, he had a huge rip in the back side of his pants. Thankfully, the owner of the tux shop brought Charles a new pair of pants, so everything worked out.

Best surprise “Our friend, Matt, took center stage and sang us a song he had written for us called ‘On and On’—it was a complete surprise and everyone loved it!”
