1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
½ cup Panko
¼ teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
 1 large egg
1 clove garlic, minced
3 green onions, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish

For the Hoisin Sauce:
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sesame oil, Panko, grated ginger, egg, garlic, green onion, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined. Roll the mixture into 1 to 1 ¼ inch balls. Place meatballs onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes, or until all sides are browned and meatballs are cooked through.

To make hoisin sauce, whisk together hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl. Cover cooked meatballs in sauce, coating all the meatballs well. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Ginger + Orange Beer
Orange-infused beer
Ginger root
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Orange, sliced

Peel and thinly slice a 6-inch portion of ginger root. Place in a 2-quart saucepan and add sugar and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the sugar dissolved and the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool. Using a fine strainer, pour the mixture into an airtight container, removing the ginger. Store in refrigerator. Mix one part ginger syrup to three parts orange-infused beer. Garnish with an orange slice.
